Especially hard rock ? I know a band like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden are NOT devil worshipers and they are musically just stunning Goooood. But I know there are some un popular unknown devil worship group who formed a band which I do not care to listen to. Also, music such as Hillsongs are Christian / Jesus worship music which are up lifting but not (in my humble opinion) musically all that great.
blah asked:
I am a Christian, but I have a vast view of the world. I realize that words that people call “curse” words are not always considered bad, because it is the intent behind the words that people use that matters. I believe if you mean to be hateful and cruel but say something that can appear not as bad, it is bad. I think your heart is big factor when it comes to being a Christian.
I believe a lot of “secular” musicians are Christians, but they just dont sing about praise and worship all the time. Honestly, if you are Christian it is better to see what would be more profitable for you, you do not want to waste your talents. If you would do better by being in a field that talks about love and relationships, why would you choose something else just to please the Church?
Christian musicians influence secular musicians as well as the other way around. Why are so many Christians so closed minded about music? Like older Christians having issues with Christian rock and rap? As long as there is a real message why does it really matter? It’s just a genre of music.
I think other types of music can help inspire people other than Christian. Isn’t it weird there are no songs for Allah and Buddah and other gods? Isn’t weird how much Christian music sells, compared to other religious groups? I mean I know it’s the common religion in America, but still….

It can be reggaeton, hip hop, techno, club and all in spanish, all english or a mix of both. It can be from the US, Puerto Rico, or wherever. It can be a local group you know, or someone who has been put on a major label. Please include where to buy the music if you know. We are constantly looking for new music to play at club nights that we do at churches. Thanks very much for your help!!
I appreciate the answers. I already know about the Katinas, Jaci Valasquez, Probly Pablo, Toby Mac (he is into diversity, but I’m not so sure that he does anything latin….).

I’ve looked and looked for new artists to listen to and there’s just way too many for me to listen to before I buy, so I figured somebody would have some good suggestions. Here’s the kind of Christian music I listen to- Brandon Heath, Shane & Shane, Nichole Nordeman, and Joy Williams (I already have all their music so no suggestions from them, just artists like them). Hopefully that gives you the gist of what I like. Please no Christian hard rock (groups like Casting Crowns kind of rock is o.k. though)or rap. Thanks a bunch!!!
List song titles too, please!

Christian music groups or artists. The person who guesses most of mine will get 10 points. Please, it will be fun!!
P.S. I originally put this in polls and survey section, but some one suggested I put it here instead.
Oh, and by the way, my sister doesn’t count, since she already knows my favorites.

I’ve noticed a lot of times lately that i’ll be listening to a band and then when i start listening closer to the lyrics and searching them online and it turns out that they’re Christian bands. Nothing wrong with that of course.
Recently I found:
The band RED who was on tour with Three Days Grace, Seether, and Breaking Benjamin.
FAMILY FORCE 5 who are an amazing group and were wild crazy in concert
and 12 Stones, who are really good. The singer of 12 Stones is the male vocalist in Evanescence’s song, “Bring Me To Life”
