Is it just me or do we a society only find things of worth when they are FREE… I mean come on… all these concerts and not one Christian group. Too me it just a bunch of people getting together for only the music not for the cause.

To say it is for people awareness. How un-aware does a person have to be when you see the carcinogens in the air every dusk, and are caughing in that 40K convertable, as you are traveling at 80mph with a smog cloud in tow.

Because LIVE Earth has nothing to do with organized religion.

Maybe the bigger question is why didn’t any Christian bands volunteer their time to participate in the Live Earth concerts?

There’s not any famous christian musicians.

Mr. Spin

A conflict of interest….
….Probably because the Earth has been around for millions of years, and most religions believe that the Earth was created in only 10, 000 years, in 7 days.

People aren’t as familiar with Christian bands – the point was to raise awareness with well-known groups. Not nearly as many people would go to the event if it was MercyMe and Casting Crowns.

The point was to attract people to the event with big names. Christian bands don’t have nearly as wide of an audience.

Stupid_People_Annoy_Me

Did they invite Hindi, Jewish, Islamic, Buddist, and Sikh bands but ban Christian bands? I don’t think they invited any religious bands of any religion. The concert wasn’t to promote spirituality. Get over it.

They were asked – they refused – they are chicken and don’t care, AND they think it has nothing to do with them because they are going to heaven so who cares if they die tomorrow.

Sequel

Because they won’t stop shoving their religion down everyone’s throat! It p*sses people off quite fast.
